Summer Climbing Camps (Los Angeles area)
Camps are for ages 7 to 12, with 3 to 4 hours of instruction a day; rope gyms teach belaying. No experience needed. Campers are not supervised outside camp hours, and camps can be canceled with 7 days' notice if too few sign up. Summer 2027 weeks are not posted yet.

After School Climbing Camps (Los Angeles area)
Fall camps run August to December (registration opened June 1) and winter/spring camps run January to May (registration opens September 1). Rope gyms teach belaying. Session days and times are listed on each gym's booking page. Access to Climbing discounts are available for families on government assistance.

LA Boulders
LA Boulders is a bouldering gym in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, run by Touchstone Climbing. The main space has 17-foot walls, about 11,500 square feet of climbing terrain and more than 200 boulder problems, plus some sport routes for climbers who rope up. It is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. A day pass is $30 before 3 p.m. on weekdays and $35 after, and children 12 and under pay $30. Under a family membership, children 0 to 12 are free. Youth Teams and Youth Camps are listed, along with fitness and yoga classes, climbing clinics and private lessons. Beginners are welcome, and the site has first-visit information. A waiver is available online. The Access to Climbing pass is $15 with current California EBT or MediCal and photo ID. The gym is listed as a party venue and an indoor play space.
