AAC and speech-language therapy

Up to age 21

Speech-language therapy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for people of all ages with limited or no speech, including children with neurological and multiple disabilities. Services include AAC evaluations, therapy, consultation and training, client-led language therapy and early intervention, and alternative access evaluations (eye tracking, head pointing, switch access) for children with complex physical disabilities. The clinician works with cerebral palsy, autism, Rett syndrome, Down syndrome, childhood apraxia of speech, Angelman syndrome and rare genetic disorders, and is trained in LAMP, PODD, PROMPT, Natural Language Acquisition and DIRFloortime. Care can happen at the clinic, at home or in the community. Harbor Regional Center vendor. Service hours are Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, by appointment, with a free phone or virtual consultation. Adults are seen too.
