Child and family therapy
Child, adolescent and parent-child therapy with a licensed clinical psychologist for social, emotional and behavioral concerns such as anxiety, depression, loss, family turmoil, meltdowns and aggression, and for life transitions like a move, divorce or adoption. Play therapy is used for very young children; older children often talk and play. Dyadic parent-child therapy is offered from birth to 5, and parenting consultation covers sleep, feeding and eating, tantrums, toileting and adjusting to preschool. She works closely with parents so gains carry over to home and school. The practice also offers evaluations and school observations. Out of network: $275 per 45-minute session, $375 per 60 minutes, $500 for school observations and home visits; a superbill is provided for PPO reimbursement. Adults are seen too.
