Psychoeducational and developmental evaluations
Team-based psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations, tailored to each child's questions. Testing covers intellectual (WPPSI-IV, WISC-V), achievement (Woodcock-Johnson, WIAT-IV), neuropsychological (attention, executive functioning, memory, processing) and emotional, social and behavioral areas. Child and teen ADHD evaluations are part of the neuroeducational assessments, and evaluations can address dyslexia, giftedness and twice-exceptionality. Evaluations designed for ages 2.5 to 5 begin with a 60-minute parent consultation and developmental screening, and often include a school observation. An evaluation includes parent and child interviews, 2-hour testing sessions, a written report with recommendations for home and school, and follow-up consultation. Summit Center also offers autism/ASD consultation and coaching, counseling, educational therapy and parent groups. Adults are seen too. Call (310) 478-6505 or email to set up an initial consultation.
