Summer camp for children with special needs

Summer camp run by Friendship Circle of Los Angeles, a nonprofit for children and young adults with special needs, with teen volunteers taking part as buddies. The organization describes it as a fun-filled summer experience with friends, within a Jewish community setting. A winter camp is also offered, and the organization runs year-round programs such as Friends @ Home playdates and Kicks 'n Hoops sports with a pro coach and a behaviorist. FCLA is a Lanterman Regional Center vendor for camping services, so regional center families can ask about funding. Its team includes Racheli Sabbagh as Camp Director and Jen Weber as Family Intake Specialist and Funding Manager. 2026-2027 registration is open, with separate summer camp participant and volunteer forms on its site.
