Physical and occupational therapy consulting
Physical and occupational therapy consulting for clients with developmental disabilities, delivered by registered physical and occupational therapists with PTAs and COTAs. Services include annual and semi-annual assessments, 30-day evaluations for new clients, written reports and recommendations, development and monitoring of training objectives, and equipment assessments including coordination of purchases and repairs. The team trains caregivers and day program staff, communicates with families and other health care providers, coordinates programs between home and day programs or schools, and refers to other professionals when needed. The practice works mainly in intermediate care facility and day program settings and is a Harbor Regional Center vendor, so services are regional center funded. The office is in Manhattan Beach.
