Physical therapy and movement training led by Kelli Barton Schneider, PT, DPT, OCS, for dancers and for people with hypermobility. Physical therapy addresses specific injuries and pain with manual therapy and targeted exercises, looking for the root cause of an injury. Movement training is a wellness service that uses strength and conditioning principles, flexibility and mobility work, balance and Pilates-based movements to prevent injury and improve movement in daily life and performance. Dancers work on strength, power, mobility and control; hypermobile clients work on stability. Sessions are offered virtually through a secure portal, so clients can join from anywhere. The practice does not publish an age range, and its pages are written mainly for dancers and hypermobile clients, including young dancers.
