Speech and language therapy
Individual speech and language therapy for children from 18 months old (adults are seen too), delivered one-on-one with parent or caregiver debriefings after sessions to review progress and carryover activities. Services include speech-language assessments, autism classification using the ADOS, PROMPT therapy by a PROMPT-trained and certified SLP, and participation in school IEP meetings. It treats autism, delayed speech and language, stuttering and fluency, tongue thrust, voice disorders and hearing impairment. SLPs hold at least a master's degree in communication disorders, are state-licensed and ASHA-certified. Staff provide services in English, Spanish, Japanese, Tamil, Farsi, Malayalam, Hindi, Tagalog and American Sign Language. Accepted funding: Kaiser, regional center, Community Family Care and private pay. Offices in Culver City, Los Angeles, Compton and Lawndale; telepractice is an option on the intake form.

About LA Speech & Language Therapy Center, Inc.
Founded in 1979 by Pamela Wiley, Ph.D., the center provides speech and language therapy and related programs to children with autism spectrum disorder and other communication needs, from toddlers through adulthood. Its nonprofit partner is the Wiley Center for Speech and Language Development. Headquarters is in Culver City, with other centers at 4560 W. Slauson Ave., Los Angeles 90043; 1531 S.
