School-based speech therapy and DHH services

Up to age 21

Licensed speech-language pathologists work with K-12 students on language disorders, articulation and phonology, fluency, social (pragmatic) communication and functional communication, including no-, low- and high-tech AAC. Students do not need a hearing loss to qualify. Therapy is personalized and can be play-based for younger children, with social skills groups, push-in support, visuals and collaboration with school staff. The agency also provides itinerant teaching for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students aligned to IEPs, educational audiology (hearing sections of IEPs, classroom hearing technology recommendations) and independent educational evaluations. Services are largely virtual, paired with on-site paraeducators, and are arranged through school districts as a certified nonpublic agency, serving students ages 3 to 22. Some therapists provide family-based and early intervention services, and some are fluent in ASL.
