Speech-language pathology practice that evaluates and treats children and adults for speech and language disorders, including mispronounced sounds linked to oral mechanics, habits, developmental delays or anatomical concerns. Services include orofacial myofunctional therapy (tongue thrust, thumb or pacifier sucking, tongue posture), feeding and oral motor therapy for sucking, chewing and swallowing problems, and early childhood development services for babies, with referral coordination with occupational and physical therapists when motor or sensory concerns appear. The founder, Dr. Alisa Prewitt, is PROMPT trained and has trained in Hanen's It Takes Two to Talk. Therapy takes place at the Woodland Hills office, in the family's home, or by telepractice. Sessions are by appointment, and the practice offers a free 15-minute consultation. Adults are seen too. It also has a Thousand Oaks office and serves Calabasas, Westlake Village and Agoura Hills.
