Child and teen therapy for anxiety, OCD and depression
Psychotherapy for anxiety, OCD and depression with a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Todd Brown, PhD, who works with kids, teens and adults. Treatment is built on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, plus Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness and grounding skills. The Anxiety and OCD Intensive Outpatient Program offers 150-minute one-on-one sessions, usually 3-5 times a week, and can include real-world exposure outings and, for some cases, home visits; it later steps down to standard sessions. Care is in person at the Barrington Ave office in West LA/Santa Monica or through local house calls. Online sessions are offered to California residents. A free 15-minute phone consultation comes first. Adults are seen too.
