ABA, early intervention and social skills
Behavior analytic services for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, starting with a careful assessment and tailored to build communication, social, cognitive, daily living, motor and behavior skills. Programs include Infant Development Services (birth to 3, in the family home and at the center), Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (ages 3 to 10), Behavioral Intervention Services for severe challenging behavior with function-based protocols, Adaptive/Living Skills (6 to adult), and Social Skills groups for ages 6 to 17, grouped by age and goals, at home or at the center. Every program includes parent education based on Acceptance and Commitment Training, with in-home and 16-hour group parent education, which regional centers sometimes request, led by a BCBA, offered on weekdays and weekends. Funded through Lanterman and North Los Angeles County regional centers. Sites in Van Nuys, Canoga Park and Calabasas; adults are served too.
