Dungeons & Dragons social group
Half-day, in-person Dungeons & Dragons sessions in the Torrance area for kids ages 9 and up. Players join a group led by a Dungeon Master, Renee, who facilitates peer interaction while kids build storytelling, creativity, teamwork and social skills through imaginative play. The owner is autistic, and many neurodivergent kids attend. Parents describe groups that meet weekly and a leader who pays attention to how each child fits with the other players, including moving a child to a different group when another one suits him better.
