Summer Beach Volleyball Camp
Campers learn passing, setting, hitting and serving, ball control and defensive movement, game strategy and court vision, teamwork and communication. Kids are grouped by age and ability, with a typical camper-to-coach ratio of 8 to 1. No experience is needed. Summer 2026 ran weekly, Monday to Friday, June 8 to August 28 (dates and times differ by beach); 2027 dates are coming soon. Single-day passes are available at some beaches, and pricing at El Segundo and Hermosa Beach varies for residents and non-residents. At Annenberg, Ocean Park and El Segundo, campers can add an afternoon at Sand & Sea Beach Camp for a 9 to 3 day.

- Morning camp 9 to 12: $250 to $350 a week depending on the beach; single-day passes $60 to $80. Morning volleyball plus afternoon beach camp, 9 to 3: $575 a week or $165 a day.

Sand & Sea Beach Camp
A beach-time add-on to the volleyball camp, or a full 9 to 3 day on its own. Activities include surfing, swimming and boogie boarding (conditions permitting), sand games and free play, arts and crafts, and team-building with staff-led beach time. Campers bring a packed lunch. Offered at Annenberg, Ocean Park and El Segundo.

About Sinjin Smith Beach Volleyball Camps
Youth beach volleyball camps, clubs and private training founded by beach volleyball legend Sinjin Smith, a multi-time World Champion, Olympian and Hall of Famer. Running since 2001, the summer camps are at eight Southern California beaches, with winter and spring break camps at the Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica. Coaches are CPR and first-aid certified and background-checked.
