Child, adolescent and adult psychiatry
Dr. Minami is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who offers psychiatric evaluations (initial or second opinion), medication management and psychotherapy. Her areas of focus are ADHD, anxiety, depression and trauma. Therapy includes psychodynamic psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy for grief and depression, and family therapy. One provider can handle both therapy and medication. Visits are in person at the Santa Monica office on Wilshire Blvd or by telehealth in California, New York and Connecticut. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM, and a free 20-minute phone consultation is offered to see if she is a fit.

Dr. Jennifer Minami is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist trained at Columbia and Cornell Universities, who treats children, adolescents and adults. She has over 15 years of experience and is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where she is also Medical Director of Child Intensive Outpatient Services.
