Inclusion Services for city recreation programs

Up to age 21 · Free

Inclusion Services lets children and adults with disabilities take part in the City of Pasadena's recreation programs. Any registered participant with a disability that affects participation may ask for support. Examples of modifications are a higher staff-to-participant ratio than the usual 1:10, a behavior support plan and auxiliary aids, decided case by case. A participant may bring their own 1:1 aide (a background check may be required) or be accompanied by a behavioral therapist. Families register for the program first, then submit the online Inclusion Services Request Form and a yearly Participant Questionnaire; an IEP or 504 plan can be uploaded. Requests are due at least 14 calendar days before the program starts. There is no fee for the service. Registration stays first-come, first-served and age and residency rules still apply. Transportation to programs is not provided. The pages are also published in Spanish.

  • Every school day,
  • No fee for Inclusion Services; the recreation program's own fee still applies.
