School-based therapy, assessment and counseling services

Ages 4+

Related services for special education students, contracted by districts, charter schools and other schools, which place the student through the IEP. Services are in person or virtual. Staff include speech and language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, adapted physical education teachers, credentialed school psychologists, licensed educational psychologists, marriage and family therapists, school nurses, assistive technology specialists and orientation and mobility specialists. Services cover psychoeducational, speech, motor and behavioral assessments and IEP development, speech therapy, OT and PT, DIS counseling, behavioral and crisis intervention, grief counseling, and parent training. PSE also runs support groups (recommended maximum 10:1 student to staff) and IEP-linked day and overnight trips (maximum 8:1). The site gives ages 4-22; the state list shows ages 1-22.
