Neuropsychological assessment and child therapy

Up to age 21 · $150/session

Psychology practice for children, teens and young adults in Pasadena, offering diagnostic evaluations, comprehensive pediatric neuropsychological assessments, targeted autism assessments, therapy, case management, parent training and IEP support. Therapy uses play therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques, working on problem solving, self-regulation, perspective taking, social skills and emotional regulation; clinicians work with children experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism and trauma, and one therapist focuses on siblings of people with developmental disabilities. Family participation is part of treatment from the start. Services are in person at the Pasadena office or by telehealth. The practice is vendored with Lanterman Regional Center and is a preferred provider for Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Anthem Medi-Cal; superbills are given for out-of-network claims. Self-pay is $150 (master's level) or $250 (doctoral level) per therapy session, $5,000 for a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and $2,500 for a targeted autism assessment. Therapy has openings; assessments have a waitlist. Office hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
