ADHD Testing
A three-step ADHD testing process for children (age 5 and up), teens and adults: a planning meeting to set goals, a testing session of psychological tests such as questionnaires and simple tasks (1 to 5 hours depending on goals), and a coaching session with a written report. For children and teens, clinical interviews and input from parents or teachers are part of the assessment. The report gives recommendations for support, school accommodations, behavior changes or medication. The standard process costs $3,500. Testing is offered in Pasadena and Los Angeles, or virtually for people living in California.

Therapy for teens and families
Individual, couples and family therapy from a group of therapists, offered in person at the Pasadena office and online throughout California. Therapists address anxiety, depression, trauma, panic attacks, grief, burnout and family stress, and teens are among those served. A care coordinator and an online matcher tool help pair each client with a therapist. Sessions cost $150 to $345 depending on the clinician. Several therapists are in network with Aetna, and superbills are available for other PPO plans. Lower-fee openings occasionally come up.

Here Counseling is a group private practice in the Pasadena Playhouse District, founded in 2020 by Dr. Connor McClenahan, a licensed clinical psychologist. The team offers individual, couples and family therapy and psychological testing and assessment, including ADHD testing for children, teens and adults. Therapists are seen in person in Pasadena and online across California, and receive weekly training and supervision from a licensed clinical psychologist.
