International Montessori Academy

International Montessori Academy (Pre-K and K)

Ages 3–6

International Montessori Academy is a small private Montessori school at 355 West Green Street in Pasadena, serving pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children. The federal private school survey for 2023-24 counted 5 students and about 3 teachers, roughly two children for each teacher. Montessori classrooms are built around hands-on work that children choose for themselves, and the name shows the school follows that approach. It is nonsectarian. Its very small size means each child gets close, individual attention in a tiny group. It suits a family with a young child who wants a Montessori start in a personal setting.
