REC Camp

Sports camp · Ages 5–12 · $140–$258/session · Full day · 8am–6pm

Camp follows the Manhattan Beach school calendar: Thanksgiving, winter, ski week and spring break. Children bring a bag lunch and a water bottle. The ratio is one counselor to ten campers. Children enrolled in Afterschool REC for the month are enrolled in that month's camp at no extra charge.

Teen Center Camp

Sports camp · Ages 11–14 · $76–$140/session · Full day · 10am–6pm

Break camp for grades 6-8 at the city's Teen Center: structured activities and time with friends on school days off.

• Resident $75.87 for a 3-day break, $127.17 for a 5-day week; non-resident $84.42 and $139.99.

Afterschool REC Program

After-school program · Ages 5–12 · $399–$438/month

Staff meet children at Meadows, Pennekamp, Pacific and Grand View elementary schools and walk them to the park. There is all-day care on most school holidays for enrolled months, and a late-night REC on the first Friday of the month.

• Every school day, 2:30–6pm

• Meadows and Pennekamp elementary to Manhattan Heights Park; Pacific and Grand View elementary to Live Oak Park.
