Speech and language therapy
Speech-language therapy for children at a child-friendly clinic in Long Beach, off the 405. Licensed speech-language pathologists work on speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, late talkers, receptive and expressive language, social communication, play skills, stuttering and autism, and offer AAC and Gestalt Language Processing therapy. Dual-Spanish language assessment and intervention is available. Care begins with an evaluation, then individual sessions of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, with parent education at the end of each session. Therapy follows a strengths-based model. Families pay privately and a superbill is provided on request. A free 15-minute virtual consultation helps parents decide what their child needs. Open weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.
