Explorer Day Camp
Campers aged 6 to 10 spend the week on the 130-foot schooner American Pride and around Rainbow Harbor, in themed weeks such as Land, Sea, Sky Explorers, Art Explorers and Coastal Explorers. Before-care from 8am cost $25 extra and aftercare to 5pm cost $50 extra in 2026. The 2027 dates and prices are not posted yet.

About Los Angeles Maritime Institute
A San Pedro nonprofit that runs sail-training and STEM programs for young people aboard tall ships. Its Explorer Day Camp is based on the schooner American Pride in Long Beach.
