Aquarium Summer Camps

Science camp · Ages 3–12 · $400–$450/week · Full day · 8am–5pm

Summer 2026 camps were Fish Fry (ages 3-4 with an adult), Sea Squirts (5-6), Ocean Adventure (7-9), Junior Biologist (10-12) and the new Coastal Explorer (10-12), which includes a whale-watching cruise. They sold out when sales opened in March; no winter or 2027 dates are posted yet.

Ocean Investigators

Science class · Ages 7–12 · $38/class

Classes are booked one at a time on select Saturdays and Sundays; the fall 2026 dates are September 19, October 3 and November 15, with mammals in January 2027. Aquarium admission is not included.

Big Fish, Little Fish

Birthday parties on the Veranda

Party venue · Up to age 21 · $65/visit

The Aquarium of the Pacific runs daytime birthday parties on the Veranda, an outdoor event space overlooking the harbor that is reserved for exclusive use during a 2-hour party slot. The package is $65 per person plus a $350 site fee, with a 15-person minimum and no stated maximum. It includes the day's aquarium admission and one buffet choice: breakfast, cheese and pepperoni pizza, or a BBQ chicken buffet, with lemonade and water. Children 2 and under are free. Parties run daily, subject to availability, at 9 to 11 a.m., noon to 2 p.m., or 3 to 5 p.m. Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except celebration cakes. Hosts can cover guest parking at $8 per car. A mobile Aquarium on Wheels tidepool visit is also available, at about $1,800. Parties are booked through the aquarium's online event form.
