School-based occupational therapy for children, delivered in the school setting. The therapist supports academic and non-academic outcomes including math, reading, writing, behavior management, recess, participation in sports, self-help skills and prevocational participation. Services listed for children include standardized and non-standardized assessments, adaptive equipment training and recommendations, handwriting screening and tutoring, clinical observational screening, and caregiver, parent and staff training. Needs named include handwriting problems, sensory processing delay, visual perceptual deficits, motor coordination disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADD, specific learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, orthopedic impairments, traumatic brain injuries, and deaf, hearing impaired and blind students.
