School-based speech therapy

Speech and language therapy delivered at school by licensed speech-language pathologists and speech pathology assistants, placed through a California Department of Education certified nonpublic agency. The agency is certified for language, speech and hearing development and remediation, and serves students from pre-K through age 22 whose districts contract with it, so services are paid for by the school district. The staff is led by Matthew Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP, an ASHA-certified, LSH-credentialed speech-language pathologist. The site also offers independent educational evaluation (IEE) requests, a free telephone consultation, and speech, occupational therapy, feeding and AAC case history forms for new clients, with Spanish forms and Spanish spoken.
