East Avenue Camps
Camp Tenderfoot (ages 5 to 8) and Camp Potowatomi (ages 8 to 12) are one-week camps; Potowatomi includes a Thursday sleepover. Vida Nueva Leadership Camp (ages 12 to 13) runs two weeks with two overnights. Morning and afternoon extended care is available for a fee. Campers bring lunch, snacks and water. Summer 2027 dates are not posted yet.

HARD is the recreation and park district for Hayward, Castro Valley and nearby areas. It runs weekly summer camps at community centers and parks, and outdoor camps at East Avenue Park in the Hayward hills.
