Speech-language therapy and evaluation

Up to age 21

Speech and language therapy that begins with a free phone consultation, then a full evaluation (history review, observation, questionnaires and standardized testing) with a plan of care. Private sessions are one-on-one for 45 minutes, usually once or twice a week, and parents get take-home suggestions and materials after each session. Areas include articulation, phonological disorders, stuttering, voice, apraxia, language disorders, auditory processing, oral-motor and swallowing difficulties, autism, social/pragmatic communication, early intervention and AAC. Sessions happen at home, virtually, at preschool or daycare, in school or in the community. As a certified nonpublic agency, it contracts with school districts and can provide independent educational evaluations (IEEs) on request. Bilingual therapy is offered in Spanish and French. Prospective clients are asked to have a current hearing screening before assessment. Social skills and community programs are also offered.
