Speech and occupational therapy

Up to age 21

Pediatric speech-language therapy and occupational therapy using a play-based approach with ongoing family involvement. Clinic sessions in Diamond Bar run 60 minutes: 45 minutes of direct therapy and 15 minutes with the caregiver. Telehealth is available. Early intervention for infants and toddlers up to 36 months at risk for or showing developmental delays is provided in the child's home through local regional centers (the practice is an Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center vendor); parents and siblings are encouraged to join sessions. As a CDE-certified nonpublic agency, its speech and occupational therapists serve students in school districts, including assessments, IEP services, individual, small-group and classroom-based intervention, and independent educational evaluations. The clinic takes most PPO plans, Kaiser and Easterseals, and private pay. Therapists cover autism, apraxia, articulation, AAC and sensory integration feeding, among other areas. Ages 0 to 22.
