School-district contracted therapy and behavior services

Ages 5–17

A certified nonpublic agency that provides related services to students placed through their school district's IEP process. The California Department of Education lists its certified services as behavior intervention design and planning, behavior intervention implementation, language, speech and hearing development and remediation, occupational therapy, adaptive physical education, counseling and guidance, parent counseling and training, psychological services, and health and nursing services. The list shows students from pre-K/TK through grade 12, ages 5 to 17, and a listed capacity of 10. Services are arranged and paid for by the school district rather than by families directly, so a parent starts by asking the IEP team about a nonpublic agency referral. The office is in Diamond Bar, in the San Gabriel Valley.
