In-home ABA therapy

Customized in-home ABA therapy for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, delivered face to face in the child's home by a trained behavior therapist. Instruction uses Discrete Trial Training, Pivotal Response Training and Incidental Teaching, with the mix set by each child's needs and family goals. Sessions are play-based for younger children and use natural routines for older ones, and may include community outings for inclusion support. Goals include functional communication, play skills, social interaction, coping, self-management and adaptive living. A BCBA starts with an assessment (direct observation, parent interviews, and tools such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS and FBA) and provides parent education and collaboration with the school team.
