Speech, language and myofunctional therapy

Up to age 18

Speech and language therapy for children and adolescents from birth to 18, with evaluations, treatment plans and parent coaching. Areas include speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, autism, fluency (stuttering), pragmatic and social communication, feeding therapy, orofacial myofunctional disorders, developmental delays, executive functioning, and a social skills group called The Social Circle. Every new client is evaluated first (50 minutes, in person or by teletherapy); a free 15-minute phone consultation comes before that. Treatment runs 45 minutes in the Calabasas clinic or 30 minutes by teletherapy, and caregivers are encouraged to join sessions. Therapy is also offered in school where accessible. Early Start services for birth to three are paid through North LA County Regional Center (vendor PL2326); the Self-Determination Program is accepted; Kaiser Permanente and Easter Seals Southern California are in-network; other plans are out-of-network with a superbill.
