Speech and language therapy
One-on-one speech and language therapy for people from birth to adulthood, delivered in the family's home or by telepractice. Therapists treat developmental communication disorders (including those associated with autism), late talkers and early intervention, expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatics and social communication, auditory processing, stuttering, voice, feeding and swallowing, reading comprehension, grammar, apraxia of speech and speech sound disorders. Families can start with a free 30-minute consultation that includes a short screening, followed by a comprehensive evaluation and an individualized therapy plan. Sessions run 30 or 60 minutes at a frequency set by the child's needs, and family involvement is encouraged with tools for home. The practice does not bill insurance but provides an invoice for reimbursement. It is also an Eastern LA Regional Center vendor. Open Monday to Thursday and Saturday mornings.
