About Momentum Innovative Disability Services
Momentum, formerly known as UCP/SCF of Los Angeles & Ventura Counties, began in 1945 when a small group of parents and volunteers in Los Angeles organized home and community-based services for their children. Today it is a nonprofit serving children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions across Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, with over 30 program and service sites. Its pediatric services include early intervention, occupational, physical and speech therapy, applied behavior analysis, social skills and community integration, Camp Escapades and Early Head Start.
