Behavior, speech and counseling services

Ages 3+

A California Department of Education certified nonpublic agency (certified for 2026-27) in Whittier, serving students ages 3 to 21 from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The services on its certification are behavior intervention design and planning, behavior intervention implementation, counseling and guidance, language, speech and hearing development and remediation, parent counseling and training, and psychological services. As a nonpublic agency, it is paid by school districts for students whose IEP calls for these services, rather than through private insurance. The state list shows a certified capacity of 10 students. Parents of a child with an IEP can ask the school district about placement with the agency.
