Family child care
Home-based family child care in a Silver Lake house, with most of the home given over to play and learning areas: blocks, dramatic play and manipulatives. Days follow a set rhythm of circle time, teacher-directed activities, outdoor play, meals, nap and free play, with monthly themes drawn from The Creative Curriculum. The philosophy is listed as bilingual. Ages run from birth to 12 years, with a 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio. Open every day, 8am to 6pm, on 1 to 5 day weekly schedules. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are included, and potty training is not required. Monthly tuition is $460 to $1,540 depending on age and days per week. The program is vendored with Lanterman Regional Center, and families tour before applying and then receive an enrollment invitation. Subsidized care is not accepted.
