ABA therapy (center-based and home-based)

Up to age 21

One-to-one applied behavior analysis for children and adolescents with autism, delivered by board-certified behavior technicians under the supervision of BCBAs using the CARD curriculum. Sessions take place at a CARD center, where children can interact with staff and peers, or in natural settings such as the home, school, playground or community. Early intervention programs for young children (the site cites 18 months to 4 years as the key window) combine naturalistic and structured ABA with an emphasis on learning through play. A Learning Readiness Program builds preschool skills, a social skills group is offered, and parents are trained to carry strategies into the home. Services are funded through most major insurance plans and through regional center vendorization (Lanterman). The site says there is no waitlist and families can request a free consultation. Center hours are Monday to Friday 8 am to 7 pm.
