Mt. SAC Early College Academy (9–12)
A public alternative school of choice in West Covina for grades 9 through 12, run by West Covina Unified and located on Rio Verde Drive. The state directory lists it as an Alternative School of Choice rather than a regular comprehensive high school, and students apply to enroll. The school's website has an online application, application and FAQ pages, and virtual information sessions for families. Its name and college-resources section point to early college study with Mt. San Antonio College, which the school's site links to library, IGETC and student-support resources. Campus life includes dances, class competitions, Link Crew, yearbook and The Academy Chronicle student newspaper. Tuition is free for a public school. Students are about 14 to 18 years old, so the program suits a high schooler who wants college-level study while still in high school and is willing to apply to a school of choice.
