ABA therapy and adaptive skills training

Applied Behavior Analysis for children (and adults) with autism and related disorders, led by director Maryam Vosogh, PsyD, BCBA-D. Services use naturalistic methods such as Pivotal Response Training alongside structured Discrete Trial Training, and begin with a Functional Behavior Assessment that leads to an individualized plan. An Adaptive Skills Training program teaches self-help, hygiene, communication, safety awareness, community integration, socialization and play skills, and a Psycho-Sexual Education and Preparation program covers puberty, relationships and socially appropriate behavior. Parents take part from assessment through direct services. The agency accepts Medi-Cal, LA Care, Aetna, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross, Molina, United Health Care, Magellan, MHN and other plans, and is vendored with Eastern Los Angeles, Harbor and Lanterman regional centers.
