ABA therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis for children with autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, attention issues and challenging behaviors, with a specialty in early intervention (18 months to 4 years). Care begins with a functional behavioral assessment: a parent interview, observation of the child in several settings, and a written treatment plan. RBTs then deliver an individualized program, closely supervised by BCBAs, covering communication, social skills, executive functioning, self-care, potty training and feeding programs. A parent training and mentorship program is part of ABA care and can also be received separately. Sessions happen in the home, at school, in the community or by telehealth across the San Fernando Valley and nearby areas, from Burbank and Glendale to Santa Monica and Woodland Hills. Lead team members speak Armenian, Russian and Spanish. The site says it is accepting clients with no wait list, accepts cash plans and most insurance (MHN, Anthem Blue Cross, Magellan, Beacon, Molina), and offers a complimentary consultation.
