Trauma-informed counseling for children, teens and families in the South Bay, including help with bullying, anxiety, depression, parents divorcing, emotion dysregulation and past or recent traumatic events. Several therapists are trained in child-centered play therapy and EMDR, and one is Brainspotting certified; EMDR and Brainspotting intensives are also offered. Services include individual counseling, family therapy and psychoeducation groups, and a social skills group for ages 3-5 is listed at $60. Offices are in Torrance (3655 Torrance Blvd, Suite 210), Hermosa Beach (2615 Pacific Coast Highway #319) and Corona. In-network with Cigna/Evernorth, HealthNet/MHN, Holman, TriCare and select Lyra providers; most PPO out-of-network plans get a superbill. Sliding scale is available. Sessions run about $175-$225 with an associate therapist and $250-$350 with a licensed therapist. Free 15-minute consultation. Some therapists are bilingual in English and Spanish.
