In-home ABA therapy and parent training
One-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis delivered in the child's home, which the provider describes as the most natural environment for learning skills. A behavioral technician works with the child under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Weekly parent training teaches parents how the treatment programs work and practical strategies for managing behaviors at home when therapy is not taking place. An adaptive skills program teaches independent living skills for self-care at home, school and in the community. Serves individuals on the autism spectrum and with other developmental disabilities across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, from offices in Sunland and Glendale. Funded through North Los Angeles County Regional Center as a listed provider. A free consultation is offered, and families can apply through the website.
