Music, movement and arts therapy
Occupational therapy-led program that uses music, instrumentation, movement and the arts to work on motor planning, postural control and sensory integration in children with special needs. Founder Kelli Smith, MOTR/L, combines music with more traditional therapeutic approaches such as NDT (neurodevelopmental treatment) and sensory integration, drawing on experience in rehabilitative, mental health and pediatric settings. The organization began in 2005 with gymnastics as a tool for motor planning, body awareness, strength and endurance, and its work includes autism, with a summer beach concert performed by children with autism. It is a Westside Regional Center vendor for socialization training, so regional center funding may apply for eligible families. Located at 1838 18th St. in Santa Monica.

Abundance Therapies, Inc. is a Santa Monica organization founded in 2005 by Kelli Smith, MOTR/L.
