Pediatric neurology for infants, children and adolescents at a Santa Clarita office, led by Dr. Thomas Kurian, MD, who is board-certified in adult and pediatric neurology, with Sonja Leahy, NP. The practice describes care for childhood epilepsy (including febrile seizures, absence epilepsy and juvenile myoclonic epilepsy), headaches, tics, movement disorders, concussion, ADHD and developmental delays. EEG testing is done in the office, and Botox for chronic migraine is offered. Family members are encouraged to be in the room, and the practice provides written seizure action plans for school staff. Telemedicine video visits are available throughout California, and same-day or expedited visits are sometimes available for urgent concerns. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Self-pay fee schedule available; insurance is verified before the visit.
