ABA therapy
Individual ABA therapy in the San Dimas clinic, an open play environment, or in the child's home, with Behavior Technicians working one-on-one under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Clinical Supervisor. Programs rest on an assessment and use play-based, naturalistic teaching. They target challenging behavior such as tantrums, aggression and crying, as well as attention, verbal behavior and social skills. The site names autism, ADHD, ADD, OCD and Down syndrome. Comprehensive programs run 15 to 30 hours a week and include one-on-one parent guidance and regular weekly parent meetings. PBS also offers group sessions. Services can extend to schools and community settings. Funded through Lanterman Regional Center as a listed vendor; the site also lists accepted insurances. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
