Speech language therapy

Up to age 21

Speech-language therapy at a San Dimas clinic staffed by speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants. Work covers articulation, fluency and voice volume, understanding and expressing language (spoken, written, pictorial, sign, and alternative communication such as iPads), pragmatic social language, and treatment of swallowing and feeding disorders. The practice serves children with a range of special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, intellectual and learning disabilities, sensory processing disorders, ADHD and hearing impairment. Its parent-clinician approach teaches parents strategies and tools to carry progress into home and everyday settings. Its clinical director lists NLA, AVT, PT-UK, OPT III and SIPT training and Vital Stim provider status. Open Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm. The same practice also offers occupational therapy and early intervention.
