Hennessey On Drums

Private Drum Lessons

Ages 8+ · $30/class

Private one-on-one drum lessons for beginners through experienced players, ages 8 to adult, taught by Patrick Hennessey, who has more than 40 years behind the kit. Students work on drum set playing, snare drum rudiments, tuning, double bass techniques and a range of styles, with lessons built around each student's goals. A first trial lesson serves as a casual, low-pressure baseline rather than a test. Lessons are available in person in Sacramento and online for students elsewhere. Lessons start at $30 per lesson, and pricing can vary with the student's needs. Patrick says he works with students with learning challenges such as autism and ADHD, and he is accepting new in-person and online students.
