Summer Music Camps
Five-day summer camps in drums, guitar, piano and pop star vocals, plus mini musicians and multi-instrument camps listed on the site, held in the morning at the Roseville studio. Campers learn in lessons, group jam sessions and workshops led by instructors, and finish the week with a showcase performance. Some sessions are set by age, such as 6 to 12 or 11 to 16, and guitar camp is for ages 7 and up. Each camp week costs $199, with a $45 non-refundable deposit at registration and the balance charged three weeks before camp. Siblings get $25 off, and every camper gets a T-shirt. No care is offered before, after or between sessions.

Private and Group Music Lessons
Weekly 30- or 60-minute private lessons, or 30-, 45- or 60-minute group lessons, in drums, guitar, bass, piano, voice, violin, ukulele, trumpet and more. Students aged five and up, from beginners to advanced players, are matched with an instructor by age, level, style and goals, and a free trial lesson comes first. Teaching rooms have instruments for both student and teacher, so they can play together. Rates run $170 a month for 30-minute private lessons up to $330 for 60 minutes; group lessons are $135 to $245 a month. There is a one-time $40 enrollment fee per family, and charter school vouchers can be used after contacting the school. Recitals are usually held twice a year, and the school closes for four weeklong breaks.

About Music Lab Roseville
Music Lab Roseville is a music school owned by Oleg and Larysa Klimkiv, across the street from the Roseville DMV. It is an extension of Drum Lab, a drum school that opened in May 2005, and added other instruments after about 11 years. It teaches drums, guitar, bass, piano, voice, violin, ukulele, saxophone, clarinet, flute and trumpet to students from beginner to advanced, aged five and up. Students work with instructors from Northern California, who work as a team and are encouraged to rotate teachers over time. The school holds recitals, usually twice a year, and runs summer camps.
