PV Music House

Marching Band (Grades 6-8)

Music class · Ages 11–13

For students in grades 6-8 who play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone or another wind instrument; no marching experience needed. PV Music House is an approved Palos Verdes Peninsula USD Independent Study PE provider, so students can earn PE credit by logging at least 10 hours a week of structured activity and a monthly activity log. Each week has three parts: the Thursday 3:45 to 5pm ensemble class, weekly private lessons with a PV Music House instructor (about $45 per 30-minute lesson, varying by instructor), and the logged activity hours. The band performs at community events, parades and showcases. Fall 2026 kickoff was August 20.
