ABA therapy
Applied behavior analysis for children with autism and developmental differences, delivered by BCBAs and RBTs. Sessions can happen in the family's home and community (parks, stores), at school in collaboration with school districts, or in a BAE clinic, in flexible combinations. The approach is described as assent-based and individualized, building communication, social skills, daily living and independence, and reducing challenging behaviors. Parent training is offered. Families start with an intake form and an assessment, then get a custom plan that is adjusted as the child grows. Payment: PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal managed care, EPO and POS plans (including Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser, LA Care, Optum, Magellan, TriCare), all regional centers, self-pay, and contracts with many school districts including LAUSD, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Long Beach, Santa Monica and Inglewood. Adult services and diagnostic evaluations are also available.
